Perego S.p.A. was born in 1929, when its founder Francesco Perego opened a factory, working on commission, producing household fabrics and clothing.
Once the second generation entered in the firm they open “Cisantex”, which will be operative with a new weaving mill equipped with modern bullet weaving machines which are added to the traditional shuttle looms. Always in the same year the firm starts producing and selling in Italy its own fabric collections and in 1979 Perego S.p.A. was born.

Since 9 March 1999 Perego S.p.A is released UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification from Cisq/certitex textile authoritative organism belonging to the international IQNET network.
The purpose of this Certification consisted in organizing the managing activities and the production technique to obtain the fixed qualitative goals, customer’s satisfaction, the rationalization of the activities and for meeting the requisites provided by UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 regulation.
The drawing of Quality Guidelines gave the opportunity to specify the operative modalities to be followed, the responsibilities and the necessary recording underline, inside and outside the firm, that Perego S.p.A. operates aiming for the “Quality Insurance System”.
